We’re a fun, small yet passionate studio specialising in digital brand, design and development for brands we do good! We help brands of all sizes create long-lasting, positive impacts through captivating digital experiences and intelligent design solutions. Based in London, near Farringdon to be precise (from October), we specialise in delivering small and medium-sized organisations, particularly in the third or social sector, captivating brand and beautiful, functioning websites.
We're looking for a passionate and energetic Junior Designer, with a passion for branding, a desire to create client pleasing websites and not afraid to jump in and create other digital marketing assets. You will be joining Purple Banana Creative Design at an exciting time as we expand with our first full-time team, in a new London office, to help bring our studio to the next level.

As we enter a new stage of growth, we’re seeking someone some resilient who isn’t afraid to go the extra mile to help us succeed. As we strive to build our internal studio culture and team, we are seeking someone who is able to commute to our new Farringdon office.
As our Junior Designer, you will be involved in all aspects of our project work alongside all of our biggest clients. From conceptual work to logo design, branding, asset creation and ad-hoc client projects and retainer work, you’ll need to be someone who’s skilled and fast-moving, feeling confident in taking a client brief and delivering their vision. You'll also be working alongside the Creative Director to help deliver workshops with clients, so public speaking is a must.

The job role would be well suited to a recent University graduate who has been completing a design-based degree, or a freelancer with 1-2 years of experience. However, we know how hard it has been for everyone during the last year or so to find work experience, and will take this into account when you apply.
What we’re looking for in our Junior Designer:
We want you to be creative with your application, whilst a CV and cover letter are the norm…we don’t want to join the bandwagon! We like bending the rules sometimes, and this is a creative role after all. So however, you want to show us your portfolio, be imaginative!
